DOUG WILLIAMS - From Showtime At The Apollo, 1st Amend. Standup
Born and raised in Montgomery Alabama, Doug quickly realized that he had an affinity for entertainment. After being put out of a local high school rap group because his rhymes were more humorous than serious, a friend suggested he give stand-up comedy a try.
So in January 1990 Doug stepped on stage at a comedy club for the first time and found his calling. After graduating from Alabama State University, in January of 1995 he decided to move to Los Angeles where he landed his first role in a major film ("The Nutty Professor” starring Eddie Murphy) only two months after his arrival. From there, his off beat style of stand-up comedy has made him a favorite on BET’s (Black Entertainment Television) “Comic View”.
Doug has also appeared on “Vibe”, “The Keenen Ivory Wayans show”, NBC’s "Friday Night, Late Night” and in 2000 fulfilled a life long dream by performing on “It’s Showtime at the Apollo.”
Doug can be seen every friday night hosting a new stand up comedy show on Starz In Black called the "1st Amendment Stand Up." Check your local listing for times. You can also see him on the dvd “The Big Black Comedy Show ” a stand up comedy with Mo'nique (from THE PARKERS).
Considered one of Hollywood’s bright young hopefuls, Doug also has been seen as Kevin on HBO’s comedy series “The Mind of the Married Man.” And as Gus “The Cabbie” and many other characters on BET’s sketch comedy show “The Way We Do It.”

Our Host's With The Most
Eddie Bryant - Hailing from our nation's capital, Eddie Bryant is regarded as one of the most talented, on-the-rise stand-up comedians in the Mid-Atlantic region. He follows in the traditions of such hometown legends as Chris Thomas, Tony Woods and Joe Clair, but with his own crazy, cool comedic twist. Eddie won his first comedy competition in 2005 as semi-finalist in Sierra Mist's 'Next Great Comic' and since then has been ripping stages and leaving audiences in stitches from D.C. to L.A. with his brilliant stand-up performances and witty, engaging hosting skills. Now Eddie serves as the hilarious resident host of Laugh Out Loud!
Chris Thomas - Comedy came easy to our resident host of Laugh Out Loud. At age 8 he learned he had a knack for Impersonating just about anybody, till the day he was 19 and the Washington Star dubbed the young stand-up comedian as an "impressionist headed no place but up." So began Chris’s professional career. However, his swift and steady rise since then is the result of much hard work which has allowed Chris to become one of the nation’s brightest comedians, in the words of the Washington Post magazine "an accomplished impressionist…on his way to fame and fortune."
